There was a time in history known as the Dark Ages.

Perhaps you’ve heard of it?

That’s right, the time BEFORE Mabel - The Grand Duchess of BBQ in North Queensland.

It was a brutal time for humanity.

Wings, Ribs, Briskets and Dim Sims were all forced into the shackled existence of cooking inside smaller and inherently inferior BBQ’s and (in some extreme cases) even fryers or ovens!

Can you imagine?

Frankly, it’s hard to fathom such savagery in today’s peaceful & harmonious world.

Mercifully, a few strikingly handsome fellas in Townsville delivered salvation in the form of the Largest Offset BBQ in the Known Universe (or North Queensland, at least) and delivered us from those sad, dark times.

And as we move forward into a new age of culinary joy, our taste buds are free to explore such wonders as this wing sauce full of tangy pickles and bottled bliss.
