Potato Bake

Potato Bake Featuring Fenglehorn Lick that chicken

  • 1kg potatoes - peeled
  • 100g cheese – grated
  • 50g cheese – grated (reserved for sprinkling on top of bake)
  • ½ cup of cream
  • ½ cup bacon – diced
  • ½ cup onion – sliced
  • 2 heaped Tbsp ‘Lich That Chicken” seasoning



  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Thinly slice the potatoes.
  3. Mix the cream, ‘Lick that Chicken seasoning’ together.
  4. Place a thin layer of potatoes on the base of an oven proof dish. Sprinkle with small amount of the cheese, bacon, and onion.
  5. Dollop the creamy mixture on top.
  6. Repeat these layers using all the potatoes.
  7. Bake for 80 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the top is golden.
  8. Sprinkle with the reserved cheese and bake until golden (approx. 5 minutes).


Cover the bake with some baking paper and another layer of Foil to prevent drying out.

Remove cover, add cheese and bake uncovered for the remaining 5 minutes.
